Funeral services for Dawn M. Daugherty, 68, of East Moline, IL, will be 10 AM Friday, February 14, 2025, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation will be Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 4p.m. to 7p.m. at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3 PM. Mrs. Daugherty passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Genesis East, Davenport, IA surround by her loving family.

Dawn DeLaere was born November 29, 1956, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Albert and Ella May Pisman DeLaere. She married Jerry R. Daugherty January 12, 1980, in East Moline. Dawn worked for the Genesis Health System, as a Systems Analyst for 32 years and was actively involved with her church, the annual firecracker run and was very active in her community.

Dawn loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing, doing puzzles and reading.

Survivors include her children, Jarrett (Savannah) Daugherty, Port Byron, IL, Alison Daugherty (Richard Ouart) Pocahontas, IL and her stepson Jerry R. Daugherty Jr. (Courtney Leonard), Austin, TX ; grandchildren, Joshua, Breyanna, Ethan, Landon, and Adriana Daugherty and Tyler and Tanner Ouart; sister, Dinah (Dave) Leibovitz, Silvis; sister-in-law, Lynn DeLeare, Silvis; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; step father, Donald Winger; brothers, Alan (Debbie) DeLaere and Richard DeLaere.

In lieu of flowers and gifts memorials may made to Camp Ondessonk in memory of Dawn Daugherty or Christ the King Catholic Church.
