Dean E. Lingafelter, 88, Moline, died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Trinity, Rock Island. Memorials services are 10 AM Monday, July 30, 2012 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Private burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Dean was born February 29, 1924 in Mercer Co., IL, the son of David and Anna (Welch) Lingafelter. He married Helene Kuhns on June 11, 1955 in Ottowa, IL. Helene died June 9, 2000. He retired as a mechanic from John Deere Plow Planter, Moline after 36 1/2 years with the company. He is survived by nieces and nephews.
