Debra L. Bradley-Weinzweig, 71, Coal Valley, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, May 25th. Funeral services will be held at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline at 10am Wednesday. Burial will follow at Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Deb was born to the late Robert and Darlene (York) Bradley on October 26, 1951 in Moline. Always a hard worker and adventurous spirit since a young age. She worked at John Deere for many years and was quick to volunteer where needed. On March 5, 1994, in Silvis she married her best friend, Kenneth Weinzweig and they spent their best years together with a large loving family. They both loved to travel and camp at the campground to spend time outdoors with family and friends. She was a member of Rock Island Eagles 956 Auxiliary and enjoyed socializing there. A mother of two children, many grandchildren, and many more great-grandchildren Deb will lovingly be remembered as the family Matriarch who always brought everyone together with love and elegance. Gone but never forgotten, a special soul who touched our lives in indescribable ways. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband Ken, children; Roxanne Bleyaert (Jake), Moline and Richard (Lisa) Bleyaert, Galesburg, grandchildren; Faith, Nicholas, Dalton, Sierra, Logan, Austin, and Aaron. Great-grandchildren; Tavionna, Tanijah, E'mya, Kadyn, Narayah, Sophia, and Stella. Siblings; Doyle and J.B. Bradley, Troy Coakley, Robin Fredrick, Kathy Grzanich, Brenda (Butch) Dooley, Tina (Rob) Whitmeyer, Vicky and Lisa Bradley, Karen (John) Chenoweth, Tina (Bob) Anderson, Cathy (Jeff) Griffen, and many special aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bob, John, and Joe. Great-granddaughter, Danaia.
