Funeral services for Della D. Dumolien, 95, will be 10 am Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis, IL. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4-6 pm Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30. Mrs Dumolien died Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis. Della DiIulio was born January 19, 1923, in Berea, Italy, the daughter of Antonio and Tommasina Compana DiIulio. She married Albert J. Dumolien November 11, 1944, at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Mr. Dumolien died May 12, 2014. She retired from the Rock Island Arsenal after 24 years of service. She was a lifelong member of St. Anne Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. In her earlier years she enjoyed bowling and had bowled in several leagues. Survivors include her sons, Thomas (Kay) Dumolien, Mesa, AZ, Anthony Dumolien Colona, IL, and William (Marilyn) Dumolien, Davenport, IA; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Joseph (Delores) DiIulio, Rock Island, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Anne Steele and Edith Senatra; and brother, Louis DiIulio. Memorials may be made to the family.
