Delores Dorothy Hollars, 88, Rock Island, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Friendship Manor, Rock Island. Services are 1PM Friday, April 29, 2022 at Rock Island Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Heart of Hope Ministries, Rock Island.

Delores Vint was born on February 11, 1934 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Charles and Opal (Kunkel) Vint. She retired from the US Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command at the Rock Island Arsenal. She enjoyed photography, gardening, landscaping and reading. Delores' greatest joy was her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren. She was a long time member of Two Rivers United Methodist Church, Rock Island.

Survivors include her children; Steven (Mary) Hollars, TX, Danny Hollars, Davenport, Rodney Hollars, KY, Brenda (Ted) Heitz, Muscatine and Patrick (Martie) Hollars, Moline, ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, half-sisters; Diane and Dorothy and step-siblings; Betty Jo, Karen, Donna and Ron.

She was preceded in death by her parents, half brother, Charles and step-sister, Joyce.
