Funeral services for Delores A. Hook, 72, of East Moline, IL, will be 11 am Tuesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will from 10 am until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Hook died Tuesday May 25, 2021, at Genesis Silvis, Silvis, IL.

Delores Daily was born October 22, 1948, in Peoria, IL, the daughter of Gerald and Rosa (Chamberlain) Daily. She married James A. Hook December 27, 1969, at Watertown Baptist Church, East Moline. He passed away May 20, 2015. Her first job was working as a car hop at the former A&W Root Beer Stand in East Moline. She then worked for F.W. Means, Lutheran Hospital, Moline, and lastly at Hillcrest School, East Moline.

Delores was a big hearted people person! She loved Christmas, singing, and going to the casinos with her best friend, Rosie.

Survivors include her siblings, Michael (Terri) Daily, CA, Gerald Daily, OH, Rev. Sharon Uphold, East Moline, Sally Daily, Carbon Cliff, IL, Rosemary Daily (Rick Walker) Moline, IL, Shirley (Aaron) Douglas, Colona, IL, and Judy (Robert) Walker, Silvis; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister-in-law, Sandy Daily; and brother-in-law, William Uphold.
