Funeral services for Delores Y. Matalik, 65, of East Moline, IL, will be 11:00 AM Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Mrs. Matalik died Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church or the American Diabetes Association. Delores Entler was born August 20, 1939 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Frank and Julia (Engels) Entler. She married Edward Matalik, June 22, 1957 in Rock Island, IL. She had worked for First National Bank and The Rock Island Bank for 10 years. She enjoyed camping, music and reading. She had a special love for animals. Survivors include: her husband, Edward Matalik of East Moline, IL, sister, Linda Etheridge of Rock Island, IL; half sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Robert Curtis of Donahue, IA, Carol Briggs of Davenport, IA; half brothers, Richard Ludtke, Thomas Brems and Michael Brems; many nieces and nephews; a special nephew, Richard Matalik of Davenport, IA.
