Dennis Allen, 71, East Moline, died Monday, December 18, 2017 at Unity Point Trinity, Rock Island. Funeral services are 10:30 AM Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Coal Valley. Visitation is from 9 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Dennis was born on January 31, 1946 in Rock Island. He married Wilma Kirk and they were together nearly 30 years. He retired from John Deere Parts and Distribution in Milan. Dennis delivered prescriptions for HyVee for the past 7 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran and loved being a member there. He was an avid fisherman, a great cook and he and his wife ran D&W Enterprises.

Survivors include his wife Wilma, children, Melissa Allen (Jamie Buggy), Tunica, MS, David Allen, Ocala, FL, Tom Crooks, Camp Point, IL, Renee Como, Union, KY and Dan (Rebecca) Kirk, Santa Rosa Beach, FL, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 sisters.
