Funeral services for Diane L. Hubbs Brundies, 53, East Moline, are 10 AM Thursday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7PM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home ltd., East Moline, where a service will be held at 6:30 PM. Diane died Sunday, June 24, 2007 at her home surrounded by her family. Memorials may be made to WAXR Family Christian Radio, Moline. Diane Hubbs was born June 4, 1954 in Rock Island, the daughter of John and June (Schultz) Hubbs. She graduated from Alleman High School, Rock Island in 1972. She married Robin Brundies on June 8, 1974 at St. Anne Church, East Moline. Diane had worked at the former Eagle Grocery for 21 years. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, working in the garden, riding her bike, and going for walks. She found great pleasure in helping others, but most of all loved playing and spending time with her granddaughter Emilee. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Robin, daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Chris Johnson, Moline, granddaughter Emilee Johnson, her parents, John and June Hubbs, East Moline, sisters and brother-in-law Denise Hubbs, East Moline, Debra and Steve Kautz, East Moline, and Deanna Hubbs, Davenport; brothers-and sister-in-law David and Janis Hubbs, Milan and Daniel Hubbs, Denver CO, and a special aunt Dorothy Light, East Moline.
