Diane Matheis, 55, East Moline, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

A celebration of Diane's life will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the East End Bolder's Club, 3712 4th Ave., Moline, from 5-8 PM. Diane Duyck was born April 12, 1963 in Moline, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Miller) Duyck.

She married Dr. Stephen Matheis on April 30, 1993 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Colona. Diane was the secretary and office manager for Dr. Stephen Matheis Chiropractic, East Moline. Diane enjoyed knitting, gardening and taking rides on the family pontoon boat.

Survivors include her husband, Steve, her children, Joe (Brooke) Matheis, East Moline and Kate Matheis, Silvis, and sisters, Debra Nordholm, Silvis and Patricia (Steve) Sevier, Silvis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jeanne Duyck and Daniel Duyck.

A private Mass and committal will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family would like masses to be said in Diane's name or to Living Lands & Waters.
