Dimitrios Gliarmis , 93, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 15th, at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, East Moline, IL. Interment will be at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline, IL. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 14th, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, where a Trisagion Prayer Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, East Moline.

Dimitrios was born June 3, 1932, in Greece, one of nine children born to Ioannis "John" and Ekaterini (Morfoutsiko) Gliarmis. He married Andromachi Rallis on November 1, 1959, in Greece. She preceded Dimitrios in death on March 21, 2022.

Mr. Gliarmis and his wife were Tailors and owned and operated James Tailor Shop for many years. He was a faithful member of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.

Survivors include his children, John (Sherri) Gliarmis, Sioux Falls, SD, and Dimitra "Tula" (Anastasios "Tasso") Korovilas, Davenport, IA; grandchildren, Apostolos (Heather), Katherine (Bryan), Dimitrios, Andromahi (Justin), and Pantelis (Liz); great-grandchildren, Jaeleigh, Raelynn, Elena, and Alexios; and other family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Andromachi; parents, Ioannis and Ekaterini; and eight siblings.
