Dollie I. Campbell, 78, Silvis, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Riverwood, East Moline. Funeral services are 11 AM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Hampton Township Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 until 4PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Animal Aid Humane Society, Moline or Silvis United Methodist Church. Dollie was born on June 18, 1936 in Smithfield, IL, the daughter of Fred and Maude Kidd. She married John Campbell on November 22, 1956 in Smithfield. Dollie had worked as a tax assessor, worked over 15 years for Frank's Pizza, Silvis and was an Avon Representative for over 40 years. Dollie was an excellent cook, a master mushroom hunter and enjoyed playing bingo and bowling. Survivors include her husband John, children, Jeri (Peter) DiIulio, Rock Island, Kelly (Scott) Finley, Huntington, IN, Mike Campbell, Peoria and John (Karlene) Campbell, Sherrard. Nine grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 9 siblings.
