Funeral services for Dolores H. "Dorie" Epping, 73, of East Moline, IL, will be 1:00PM Friday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery East Moline. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00PM Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 5:00 PM. Mrs. Epping died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Academy, East Moline. Dorie Leenknecht was born February 12, 1939 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Francis and Henrietta Six Leenknecht. She married Paul Epping. She retired from Linguisystems, East Moline, April of 2012, with more than 25 years of service. She had been a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline until its closing and currently a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Survivors include her sons, Ronald Epping, East Moline, Michael (Andrea) Epping, Moline, and William Epping, Brandenburg, KY; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; mother, Henrietta Leenknecht, East Moline; sister, Marian (Jack) Kettering, Rock Island; sister-in-law, Marie Leenknecht, Moline. She is preceded in death by her father, infant son, Daniel Epping, and brother, Charles Leenknecht
