Donald Carlson was born in June 19, 1943 the son of Charles and Shirley Carlson. After a long hard fought battle he went home to his true love Jesus. The will to keep fighting was there till the very end. He loved his family which he gave and received from all of us. He was awesome caring and helping his mother and brother when they were sick We would have loved to have had him longer but at what cost? He is seeing glory now. His number one passion was family get-togethers and picnics. He loved boating, camping, fishing, riding his electric bike down along the river. He loved Sarah, a little dog he had to give away because of his health. He is survived by his 3 children Renae, Donnie and David; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; siblings, Kaye Hannah, East Moline, Bob (Vicki) Carlson, Silvis, IL, and Wuanita (Butch) Holden. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Carole, brother, Gary, nephews, Jason, Kelly, and Allen. There will be no services.
