Memorial services for Donna L. Mattly, 85, of Silvis, IL, will be 11:00 am Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Promise City, IA, at a later date. Mrs. Mattly died Sunday October 29, 2017, at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis, IL. Donna Smith was born February 12, 1932, in Des Moines, IA, the daughter of Jay and Iva Barker Smith. She married Earl "Dean" Mattly May 19, 1950, in Corydon, IA. She had worked at various businesses and retired from Red Jacket, Davenport, IA. She enjoyed oil painting, playing bingo and cards. Her favorite memory was living in Honolulu. She loved her family and her beloved dog "Nikki". Survivors include her children, Kathy (John) Bolton, East Moline, and Terry (Lorena) Mattly, East Moline; grandchildren, Mike Mattly, Scott (Amber) Mattly, April (Jeremy) Pennington, Korbyn Bolton, Dustin Mooney, Terry Mooney, and Brandy Lawson(Josh Ince); 5 great granddaughters; 3 great grandsons; special friend from high school, Lyle (Donna) Crozier, Waukee, IA. She was preceded by her parents and an infant daughter, Cheryl Lynn Mattly. Memorials may be made to the IRC Activity Fund.
