Funeral services for Doris M. Hatch, 77, of Davenport, IA, will be 10:00AM Monday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00PM Sunday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mrs. Hatch died Monday, November 25, 2013, at Windsor Manor, Grinnell, IA. Memorials may be made to Alleman Girls Basketball. Doris Mallotte was born June 22, 1936, in Beattie, KS, the daughter of Maurice and Dorothy Koch Mallotte. She married James M. Hatch August 11, 1956, in Marysville, KS. He died July 30, 2012. She retired in 1997 from Valley High School, West Des Moines, IA. She loved reading mysteries. She was a University of Kansas Jayhawks Fan. She loved to spoil her grandchildren. Survivors include her sons, Thomas (Paula) Hatch, Grinnell, IA, Tracy (Claudia) Hatch, Speicher, Germany, and Jay (Lori) Hatch, Davenport, IA; grandchildren, Jay, Charles, Nellie, James, Phillip, Jon, Emily, and Erin; brother, Tom (Pat) Mallotte, Marysville.
