Doris A. Henriksen, 92, East Moline, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis. Funeral services are 11 AM Wednesday at Calvary Lutheran Church, Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 AM until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church, where she was a member.

Doris Boyungs was born September 7, 1925 in Sterling, IL, the daughter of Lawrence and Evelyn (Anderson) Boyungs. She graduated from Moline Public School of Nursing in 1946. She married John Henriksen on August 23, 1947 at the Little Brown Church in the Vale, Nashua, IA. Doris was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and a devoted Christian.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, John, sons, David Henriksen , Mesa, AZ, Eric (Sandra) Henriksen, New Berlin, WI, and John Mark (Joan) Henriksen, Geneva, IL, seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and her sister, Janice Boyungs, Montana.
