Funeral services for Doris L. Sims, 75, of Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Tuesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Sims died Friday, February 01, 2008 at her home. Memorials may be made to Grace Bible Church, Moline, where she had been a member. Doris Lawson was born May 6, 1932 in Graysville, MO, the daughter of Pearl and Fredonia (Partin) Lawson. She married Ervan P. Sims June 16, 1988 in Davenport, IA. He died April 2, 2005. She had been a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
