Services for Doris J. (Krambeck) Thiem, 87, of Geneseo, are 10 AM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Services will also be live-streamed by logging into http://www.facebook.com/vanhoefuneralhome . Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline. Visitation is 4:30PM to 6:30PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Dory died Friday, August 20, 2021 at Genesis East, Davenport, IA. Memorials may be made to the Rock Island County Animal Care & Control.

The former Doris Krambeck was born September 30, 1933, the daughter of Dorothy and Harry Krambeck. Doris was a graduate of UTHS class of 1951. She married Robert W. Thiem Jr., on September 30, 1978 in Silvis. Bob died February 20, 2021. Previous marriages, Robert (Bud) Bennett and Walt Edgell. She was secretary for the UAW for thirty two years, sales clerk for Osco Drug in Silvis for 22 years. She was Secretary and Editor of the former Curious Collector's Club. Doris enjoyed bowling, crocheting, family get togethers, especially Christmas day with all the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also cherished the many friendships made at Osco Drug.

Survivors include her children; Thomas (Deb) Bennett, East Moline, Deb (Terry) Schneider, East Moline, Cindi (Jon) Ellstrom, East Moline, Lisa Isbell (Bruce Shappard), Silvis, and Robert "Mick" Thiem, East Moline, fourteen grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren with one on the way, sisters, Helen Dow and Sandy Rowe.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, son, Ricky Thiem, and siblings, Fran Lampe, Mary Jane Johnson, Barbara Grear, Harold Krambeck and Herb Krambeck.
