Dorothy G. Adams, 85, of East Moline, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Genesis Illini, Silvis. Funeral services are 10 AM Saturday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline. Visitation is 4-7PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Dorothy Fanter was born on November 21, 1930 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Louis and Gertrude (Shoener) Fanter. She married Allyn Zvonik and together they had 3 sons. She later married John Adams. Dorothy had worked as a Supply Tech at the Rock Island Arsenal. She enjoyed working puzzles, gardening, and going to yard sales. Most of all she loved her time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her sons, Allyn Zvonik(Molly), East Moline, Jack Zvonik, Moline and Jim Zvonik, East Moline, grandchildren; Margo Hayostek, Heather Adlfinger, Jessica Pearsen, Jim Zvonik Jr., Heidi Zvonik, Jeremy Zvonik, Kyle Zvonik, and Holly Zvonik, fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Roberta (Woody) Hill, and brother, Arthur (Diane) Fanter. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother John Fanter
