Dorothy L. Clason, 78, Milan, IL, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at UnityPoint Health, Rock Island. At Dorothy's request her body will be cremated and a memorial celebration will be held from 1:00-5:00 pm Saturday at the Knights of Pythias Hall 409 2nd Avenue Milan. Dorothy was born on September 27, 1937 in Arispe, IA, the daughter of Carl and Cleo Brock Shrader. She owned and operated Ace Upholstery in Milan for 40 years. She enjoyed reading and playing bingo. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. Survivors include daughters, Linda (Brad) Small, Milan, and Lori (Terry) Wensel, Milan; grandchildren; Jeremy Benz, Keith Mundt (Cassie Dwyer), Mindy (Greg) Engle, Kevin (Jenna) Mundt, Shelly (Mike) Long, and Jessica (Jason) Schroeder; twelve great-grandchildren; a great great-grandson due in May; sisters, Dolores Fox, Rock Island, and Barb (Larry) Osterhagen, Milan; brothers, Gene (Augie) Shrader, Morton, IL, and Emmett (Carla) Shrader, Naperville, IL; sisters-in-law, Sue Shrader, Downey, CA, and Carole Shrader, Milan; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved poodle, "Molly." She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Dave, Dean, Bill and Chuck Shrader, and great grandson William.
