She was a lifelong Christian who taught Vacation Bible School, and helped start a new congregation while a teen. A funeral service will be held for Dorothy at the First Baptist Church in Moline, Illinois, on 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 20, 2016, with Pastor David Kinnick officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Moline or Crossroads United Methodist Church, Washington, IL.
