Dorothy M. Freelove, 83, of Davenport, IA, died Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Genesis East, Davenport, IA. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. There will be no services.

Dorothy Nicoletta was born September 6, 1938 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of Peter and Marie (Smith) Nicolletta. She married Lee Freelove Jr. July 26, 1980. She retired from Valley Construction.

Survivors include her children, Sandra Wakeland, New Hall, IA, David (Shelly) Lindsey, Davenport, and Randy (Heather) Lindsey; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Peter Fretto and Roy Lindsey; sister, Dale Vella.
