Dorothy J. King, 93, of Silvis, IL, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA. There will be a family Celebration of Life at a later date.

Dorothy Miller was born December 31, 1927, in Morrison, IL, the daughter of Roy and Jeannette (Coutteau) Miller. She married Stacy King March 10, 1951, in Colona, IL. He passed away March 6, 2008. Dorothy loved to volunteer and had volunteered at Illini Hospital for 37 years. In her younger years she was an avid bowler. She was a Norte Dame fan and a Chicago Cubs fan. She was a loving grandmother and great grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Janice (Craig) Rowlands, Geneseo, IL, Brian (Felicia) King, East Moline, and Michael (Carla) Finley, Marana, AZ; 8 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and grandson, Zack Taylor.
