Graveside services for Dorothy A. Lang, 90, formerly of Colona, are 10:30AM Monday at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is from 9 until 10 AM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home. Dorothy went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Hillcrest Home, Geneseo. Dorothy was born September 6, 1919 in Schuyler County, IL, the daughter of Homer and Bertha Lincoln Skiles. She married Victor Lang on June 8, 1940 in Hannibal, MO. He died September 10, 1999. Dorothy had worked as a machine operator at the former Strombeck & Becker for 15 years, retiring in 1971. Dorothy had been a member of the former Moline Gospel Temple. She dearly loved her family and was a devoted wife and mother. Survivors include her son daughter-in-law Donald and Linda Sue Lang, 3 step grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren, a sister Hildreth Walters and a brother Robert Skiles both of Aquawka, IL.
