Dorothy (Treskow) Rives born June 14th, 1922 in Omaha, Nebraska. She died August 23, 2011 in Silvis, IL, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Rives, her son, David P. Rives, and a grandson, Jeffrey R. Johnson. She will be missed by two sons, Bill (Mary), John (Jackie), and three daughters, Carol (Ron) Johnson, Pat (Dick) Bonaldi, and Nancy (Jim) Huennekens, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren including Lindsey Rives, East Moline and Erica Rives Kautz, Aliso Viejo, CA, which she lovingly called her "Baby Dolls". The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff and many friends at Park Vista Retirement Residence and Calvary Lutheran Church; Dr. Dawn Bode; Friendship In-Home Services; and the staff at Illini Hospital. Dorothy requested that her body be donated to the University of Iowa, Department of Anatomy. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church Parish Nurse Program, 2900-Avenue of the Cities, Moline, IL 61265.
