Graveside services for Doug "Wally" Wright, 68, of East Moline, IL, will be 1 pm Tuesday at Greenview Memorial Gardens. The service will be in the mausoleum. Mr. Wright died Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Generations at Rock Island.

Wally was born June 6, 1952 in Rock Island, IL, the son of Rex and Helen (Mallas) Wright. He worked for McLaughlin Body Company, Moline, and the City of Moline. He was an excellent guitarist. He played in the band Wide Track with his brother for nearly 30 years. Wally never new a stranger and will be missed by all.

Survivors include his sister, Nancy Patton, Rock Island, sister-in-law, Linda Wright, Silvis; nephews, Rick (Andrea) Zeroth, Samuel Doug Zeroth, and Nicholis (Brittany) Wright; great nephew, Rick Zeroth Jr.; great niece, Miranda Zeroth; step brothers, Rick Zeroth, Rock Island, and Terry Moeller, Rock Island; cousins, Sandy (John) Turner, WI, and Mary Anne (Andre) Smith, Carbon Cliff; uncle, Cliff Steiner, Fulton, IL; many cousins; best friend, Randy Serra, Silvis; best neighbors ever, John (Marisela) Sens, Simona, Julissa, and Aurora Sens; and his nurses, Itty Bit, Barb and B-One; and many friends.

Memorials may be made to the family.

He was preceded in death by his parents brother, Harry Wright; step father, Richard Zeroth; step mother, Bonnie Wright; and step brother, Randy Moeller.
