Druanne M. "Dru" Franks, 59, Moline, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at her home. Funeral services are 11 AM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation is 3-6 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery, full dress, boots and helmets required for entry. Memorials may be made to the family. Dru James was born on October 19, 1956 in Moline, the daughter of William and Nancy Lou (Calcutt) James. She married Sherman C. Franks on August 8, 2005 in Sturgis, SD. Dru had been a payroll clerk for Kone for 9 years. Survivors include her husband Sherman, children; Aaron Fitzjarrell, Rock Island, Daryn Franks, Cleveland, IL and Stefany Franks, Port Byron, grandson Noah Austin Flaugh and one grandchild on the way and siblings, Jessie (David) Ward, Ruby (David) Bendle and Wanda Ward Easterlin. She was preceded in death by her parents; William James and Nancy DeCook, sister, Sharon Schmiers and brother Joey Ward Jr.
