Funeral services for E. Elaine Graver, 89, Colona, are 10 AM Saturday at Colona Methodist Church, Colona. Burial is in Dayton Corners Cemetery, Colona. Visitation is 6-8PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mrs. Graver died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. A memorial fund has been established. Elaine Larson was born September 3, 1918 in Wahoo, NE, the daughter of Alfred and Hannah Amelia (Olsen) Larson. She married William H. Graver on November 26, 1937 in Ewing, NE. Elaine was a charter member and past president of the Colona Fire Department Auxiliary, had served as a Girl Scout Leader, and was active in the Colona Senior Center. She was a member of the Colona Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of nearly 70 years William, sons; William Graver III, Springfield, OH and Terry Graver, Colona, grandchildren; Tamara L. Hartsock and William Graver IV, and a great grandson Alex Graver.
