Funeral services for Earl E. "Can Man" Crandall, 90, of East Moline, IL, will be 2:00 PM Friday at Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time Friday at the church. Mr. Crandall died Tuesday, February 05, 2008 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church. Earl was born August 25, 1917 in Milliron, MT, the son of Walter and Lavina (Franks) Crandall. He married Margaret Fitch April 10, 1945 in Colona, IL. He served in the US Army During WWII. He had worked for Midwest Typewriter, Moline and Rodgers Business Machines. Earl loved to ride his bike, collecting cans along the Ben Butterworth Parkway. He was a friend to all and he will be missed. Survivors include: his wife of 62 years, Margaret Crandall of East Moline ; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Steve Parrott of Moline, IL, sons, Robert Crandall of Las Vegas, NV, David Crandall of East Moline, Kenneth Crandall of Las Vegas; grandsons (spouse), Jeff (Mary) Parrott and Joshua Parrott.
