Funeral services for Earline Buyck, 90, of Cross-town Square, Silvis, formerly of East Moline, IL, are 11 AM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home. Mrs. Buyck died Tuesday, May 06, 2008 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to the Quad Cities Animal Welfare Clinic. Earline was born February 3, 1918 in Moline, the daughter of Leonard and Nancy (Bailey) Wirt. She married Emiel Buyck on January 16, 1937 at the Moline Gospel Temple where they were charter members. Mr. Buyck died February 15, 1999. Earline had worked as an assembler at the former Buddy L. Toy Company, East Moline. She and her husband enjoyed camping and square dancing. Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law Charles and Linda Buyck, Geneseo, IL and Jerry and JoAnn Buyck, East Moline; five grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
