Funeral services for Edith E. Mullarkey, 102, of Moline, IL, will be 1:30 PM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home. Edith died at Heritage Manor Care Center in Elgin Illinois on October 27, 2008. She was born in Titonka, Iowa on October 3, 1906. the daughter of Frank and Gertrude (Isenberger) Hagen. She was one of eight children all of which proceeded her in death. She married Earl Mullarkey on Oct 10, 1929. At age 98, Edith attended the Elgin Senior Daycare Center as a participant and Volunteer. This staff became her family that she grew to love deeply. The love she received at the Senior Center and Heritage Manor contributed to her long and involved life. Edith was a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Edith remained creative, bright and alert until her death. She and her sense of humor, will be missed by all.
