Edith M. Senatra, 85, Silvis, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis. Funeral services are 1PM Wednesday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7PM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30 PM. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Edith DiIulio was born October 13, 1928 in East Moline, the daughter of Antonio and Thomasina (Compana) DiIulio. She married Philip Senatra on September 3, 1949 at St. Anne Church, and they just celebrated their 65th anniversary. In early years, she had worked for Roy Roth, Milan and the former Iowa Illinois Gas and Electric Company. Edith enjoyed gardening, and crocheting. She was a wonderful wife and mother, who dearly loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and always had her camera ready. Survivors include her husband Philip, children (spouses), Susan Denys, East Moline, Julianne Kuffler, Moline, MaryJo (Richard) Ferry, Daniel (Laurene) Senatra, Silvis, David (Wendy) Senatra, Monroe, NJ, and Jeff Senatra, SanFrancisco, CA, twelve grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one on the way, and siblings, Della Dumolien, East Moline, Louie (Marlene) DiIulio, Naperville, and Joe (Dee) DiIulio, Moline. She was preceded in death by her son John, parents, sister Anne Steele, and grandson Ryan Ferry.
