Funeral services for Edward H. Cabor Jr., 77, of Davenport, IA, will be 11:30 AM Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 10:00-11:30AM Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Cabor died Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Cabor was born October 28, 1931 in Moline, IL, the son of Edward and Ruth (Headley) Cabor Sr. He married Theresa Miller. She died July 18, 1995. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He had been a carpenter working for his father's company, Ed Cabor & Sons, East Moline. He was a sportsman and had been a member of the NRA. Survivors include: fiancée, Ann Walsh of Davenport, IA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Jo and Clarence Paskey of Poynette, WI, Beverly and Fred Krentz of Black River Falls, WI, Barbara Duncan of East Moline; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Roberta Cabor of Alabama, Fred Cabor of Black River Falls, WI, Donald Cabor of East Moline, Joe and Jane Cabor of East Moline.
