Edward W. Stacey Jr., 57, of Moline, died Monday, November 14, 2022 at home. A funeral service will be 1 pm Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island. Vistation will be from 12 – 1 pm Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. The funeral and visitation are both under the direction of Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Cremation rites will follow. Inurnment will be private. Memorials may be made in care of Blackhawk Special Education Center.

Edward was born in Moline, Illinois on January 4, 1965, a son of Edward Sr. and Susan Brinton Stacey.

Edward worked at Brookshires in Arkansas before moving to the Quad Cities where he managed a local McDonalds store.

Edward was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. He enjoyed hanging out with all of his nieces and nephews and loved to attend their various events. He was known to go above and beyond for anyone and everyone he met.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Peggy Minteer, Moline; aunt, Sharon Erickson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Billy Stacey and Joseph Stamper.
