Edward E. Voorhis 85, of East Moline, IL, died Monday, March 18, 2019, at his daughter's home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, there will be no services.

Ed was born July 24, 1933, the son of Edward and Helen Voorhis. He married Mary Lou Lindquist in September of 1982. She died February 18, 2017. He retired from Black Hawk College in 1995 after more than 20 years of service.

Survivors include his children, Penny Spiker, East Moline, Candy (Charles) Fisher, AL, Mark Voorhis, East Moline; step children, LeArta Romero, East Moline, and Kurt (Virginia) McNeal, Milan, IL; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brothers, Henry (Mary) Voorhis, Colona, IL, and Richard Voorhis; son-in-law, Richard Spiker Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, grandson, Robert L. King II, and siblings, Joanne and "Bunk"
