Funeral services for Elaine S. Tank, 85, of Moline, IL, will be 12:30pm Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until service time Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Tank died Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to Macular Degeneration Foundation. Elaine Stoneburg was born September 17, 1924 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Charles and Ruby Fries Stoneburg. She married Ivan E. Tank March 17, 1946 in East Moline. They were happily married for 50 years. He died December 25, 1996. She had worked at Frank Foundries, Moline and Sears, Moline. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Rita Tank of Hampton, IL; grandchildren (spouse), Amy (Aaron) Farrey of East Moline, Erik (Heidi) Tank of Colona, IL; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Alex, and Natalie; sister, Jacqueline Hume of Moline, IL.
