Eleanor Ruth Henry, 87, East Moline, died Friday, June 20, 2014 at Riverwood Rehab, East Moline. Funeral services are 10 AM Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7PM Monday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established. Eleanor Lindholm was born on May 24, 1927 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of John and Bertha (Schweiss) Lindholm. She married Leonard Henry on January 25, 1947 in Rock Island. He died April 15, 1986. Survivors include her children, John (Barb) Henry, Chisholm, MN, Jim (Vickie) Henry, East Moline, and Dawn (Alan) Miller, Colona, nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, a niece Donna and nephew, Tony. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, a brother, daughter Cheryl Catour and son Tony Henry.
