Graveside services for Eliska Elizabeth Lincoln, 79, of Silvis, IL, will be 9:00AM Tuesday at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Mrs. Lincoln died Saturday, February 11, 2006 at Trinity Medical Center at Terrace Park, Bettendorf, IA. Memorials may be made to Amber Ridge Assisted Living, Moline, IL. Eliska Zelenkova was born December 27, 1926 in the Czech Republic, the daughter of John and Anna Zelenkova. She married Thomas Lincoln in 1965 in Clinton, IA. He died March 18, 1992. Eliska was an artist, who specialized in oil paintings. Besides painting, she had written and illustrated 11 published cookbooks. She had been a former member of the Left Bank Art League. Although she and her husband had no children, the neighborhood children always called her "Mom". Among survivors is a friend, Mary Hoegner of Moline, IL.
