Services for Elizabeth (Betty) C. Bert, 85, of Lakewood , CO ., formerly of Silvis , IL., will be on Friday Nov 21st, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis , IL , where she is a past member. Entombment will be at St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline , IL . Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday Nov 20th at Van Hoe Funeral Home, 1500 6th St , East Moline , IL . Where a rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM. Betty passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008. She was born in 1923 in Ozora , MO. , the daughter of John and Rosemary Naeger. In 1948, she married Lonnie Bert in St. Genevieve , MO. She is a retired beautician, was a cub scout leader and a loving Mother to all of her children and grandchildren. Her survivors include 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Roger Kenney, Seaton, IL and Joan and Ken McBurney , Lakewood, CO; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, James and Bev Bert, Windsor, CO, and Jerome and Deb Bert, Moline, IL; 7 grandchildren, Lisa Doyle, Thaddeus Bert, Jennifer Kendall, Jason and Aaron Kenney, Karlie Massey, and Lauren Bert; 3 step granddaughters, Laura Goodrich, Brenda Gallegos , and Valerie Ray, all of CO; 5 great grandchildren, Brandon and Coleby Doyle, and Karmen and Seraphina Bert, and Jacob Kenney; 6 step great grandchildren in Co. and a brother, Elmer Naeger of St. Genevieve, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Bert, a brother, and a step grandson.
