Elizabeth A. Bjork, 94, of Moline, IL, formerly of Ann Arbor, MI, died Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline, IL. Memorial services will be held in Ann Arbor at a later date. Elizabeth Chase was born March 3, 1916 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Frederick and Anna Corey Chase. She married Elliott L. Bjork November 11, 1937 in Ann Arbor. He died in November of 1973. She had worked as a telephone operator for the former Michigan Bell. Survivors include her daughters, Katherine "Kathy" Runburg of Moline, Karen (Gregg) Neiman of Deerfield, IL; grandchildren Kirsten Runburg, Moline, Jon Runburg, Phoenix, Gregg (Jan) Runburg, Flossmoor, Kurt Runburg, Park City, UT, Amy Deaton (Richard Allman), Moline, Katherine Neiman, Chicago, and Joseph Neiman, Chicago; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Frederick Chase Jr. of Ann Arbor.
