Elizabeth A. "Liz" Pappas, 58, Moline, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at her home. A memorial visitation is from 4-6 PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family. Liz was born on June 9, 1959 in Rock Island, the daughter of Marion and Lola (Alvin) Nichols. She married Arnold Pappas on January 10, 1976. She was a donut finisher at Donut Delight for the past 5 years. She enjoyed attending the Stock Car races at the East Moline Speedway and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband Arnold, children, Christina Nichols, East Moline, Arnold J. Pappas Jr., East Moline and Shawn M. Pappas, Orion, nine grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and siblings, Linda Vaughn, Cordova, Pat Hubbard, Hampton, Connie Nichols, Rock Island and Lonnie Nichols, MO.
