Elizabeth A "Aunty" Roose, 92, Silvis, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Funeral services are 10 AM Saturday at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe, where she was a member or to Animal Aid Humane Society. Elizabeth was born on January 28, 1921 in Rapids City, IL, the daughter of William and Alice (Busquart) Roose. She retired in 1985 after 44 years with the former Servus Rubber, Rock Island. She enjoyed reading and gardening. Elizabeth had a love of animals and respect for nature. Survivors include her niece, Katherine (Joe) Ybarra, East Moline.
