Funeral services for Elizabeth J. Stamp, 97, East Moline, are 2 PM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Mrs. Stamp died Sunday, July 31, 2005 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. Elizabeth Beck was born September 25, 1907 in Jackson County, IA, the daughter of William and Christina (Peterson) Beck. She married Vernon Stamp, January 13, 1929 in Jackson City, IA. He died February 13, 1979. Elizabeth had a special love for her family and enjoyed time spent with her great grandchildren. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law William and Frances Stamp, Richmond, VA, grandchildren Scott Short and Daniel Stamp, and 6 great grandchildren.
