Graveside services for Eloris F. Thorpe, 91, of East Moline, IL, will be 1:00 pm Wednesday at Riverside Cemetery, Moline, IL. Mrs. Thorpe died Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Eloris Masengarb was born March 17, 1924, in South Dakota, the daughter of Andrew and Jennie Hazel (Rinard) Masengarb. She married Thomas A. Thorpe in 1945 in Los Angeles, CA. He died July 25, 1981. Survivors include her son, Paul Thorpe, East Moline; sister, Elwris "Mickie" Moran, IL; nieces, Donna Tomkins, Dorinda Haskins, Arlene Griswold and Kris Irene Masengarb Moore; grand nieces, Deb Kakavas and Tammy Mowery; grand nephew Mike Zug.
