Elroy Rummel, 57, of East Moline, IL, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Genesis, Silvis, IL. Services will be held at a later date.

Elroy was born October 29, 1964, in Savanah, IL, the son of P.A. and Helen (Notz) Rummel. Over the years, Elroy had worked as a landscaper for Suburban Landscape, Davenport, IA, and Kymbyl Komplete Care, Rock Island, IL. He later worked for Donut Delite, Moline, IL.

Elroy was a member of New Life Fellowship, East Moline. He was committed to family, friends and his faith.

Survivors include his parents, P.A. and Helen Rummel, Urbana OH; brother, Paul (Shonda) Rummel, East Moline; nieces, Michelle (Luke) Jackson, Barstow, IL, Andraya (Barry) Shreeves, Silvis, and Piper (Marco) Nichols, East Moline; nephew, Anshelm Rummel, East Moline; great nephews, Zachariah, Kedrick, and Isaac; great friends, Fred Moenck, Rusty Harmaning, and Claire Betts; and his best buddy, Jasmine "Jazzy" his cat.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Paula Rummel.
