Funeral services for Elvera Bohnert, 82, of East Moline, IL, will be 9:30 AM Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline, IL. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM. Mrs. Bohnert died Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Monsignor William Cleary Endowment Fund. Elvera Sundine was born July 4, 1922 in Moline, IL, the daughter of John E. and Esther (Johnson) Sundine. She married Lester G. Bohnert January 27, 1942 in East Moline, IL. She was a member of the Moline Vikings' Clara Lodge and the Lady Foresters of St. Anne Catholic Church. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed her flower garden, shopping and her cat, "Tinker Bell". She loved her family deeply. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Lester Bohnert of East Moline, IL; daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Wayne Reeter of Honolulu, HI, Pat and Darrel Liedtke of East Moline, IL, Beverly and Edward Stoneburg of Mount Zion, IL, Theresa and John Bull of East Moline, IL; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Georgia Bohnert of Urbana, OH, Jim and Wanda Bohnert of East Moline, IL, Ted and Marci Bohnert of Erie, IL, Lester and Becky Bohnert of Moline, IL; 25 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Twila and Dick Olson.
