Emily I. (Pitz) Jackson, 42, Moline, formerly of Davenport, passed away on Thursday, October 04, 2018 at her home. Memorial services are 5PM Sunday, October 7, at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation is 2PM until service time. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made the Sophia Jackson Trust. Private family committal is in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Emily Pitz was born January 24, 1976 in Moline, the daughter of Arthur and Suzanne (Hawthorne) Pitz. She attended Millikan University, Decatur and graduated from Western Illinois University. She married Jeff Jackson on November 22, 2008. Emily was an Office Support Specialist at Western Illinois University, Moline. Survivors include her daughter Sophia, at home, parents, Art and Suzanne Pitz, Moline, siblings, Don (April) Pitz, Washington DC, and Margaret (Charles) Moser, Elmhurst, IL, nephew, Sam Moser and Jeff Jackson, Davenport, IA.
