Funeral services for Estal "Ed" Wilson, 79, of Silvis, IL, will be 10:00 am Thursday at the Van Hoe Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Wilson died Saturday, November 28, 2015, at his home. Ed was born August 22, 1936, in Craigsville, WV, the son of James A. and Vada Ward Wilson. He married Evelyn J. Lynch November 5, 1959 in Craigsville. He worked 23 years at McLaughlin Body, Moline. He then opened Ed's Auto Muffler and Brake, Silvis, retiring in 2004. Ed was a well known musician. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Evelyn Wilson, Silvis; daughter, Tammy (Doug) McLean, Chilliwack, BC; sons, Ronald Wilson (Lori King), Carbon Cliff, IL, Rick Wilson, Silvis, and Darryl (Terrie) Wilson, Colona, IL; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Annabelle Webb, Craigsville, and Roberta Kay (Kirby) Jones, WV.
