Ethel Frances Scott, 92, formerly of Moline, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Lighthouse, Silvis. Funeral services are 11 AM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Ethel Frances Argo was born on May 4, 1921 in Boone, IA, the daughter of the late John T. and Ethel Helen (Gordon) Argo. She married Robert J. Scott on January 17, 1942 in Kahoka, MO. He died in July of 1987. Mrs. Scott held various secretarial jobs in Madison and LaGrange, IL. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, Bernice Anderson, Royce Argo, Dorothy Atkins, Clyde Argo and Mary Thomas.
